Description

We produce a French Acadian flat bread/ pancake called ployes. Ployes are made by just adding water...no eggs, milk, sugars, or oils are need for the mix. Ployes are fat free and cholesterol free. The ingredients in ployes are buckwheat flour( we grow and mill on the farm) wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. We have a small stand by the road in which we sell ployes, crafts, paintings, candles, potatoes, pumpkins and zucchini. WE are open during Aug. Sept. and Oct. Or will open earlier by appointment. (834-3227) WE also have a Ploye Festival in Aug. (on the 7-8th)Here we will again cook a 12 foot round ploye that the spectators will get to eat. Also try out for the ploye eating contest. Get your fill of a great Acadian treat.
