If skiing is more your style, come visit the cradle of nordic skiing in North America. Two Olympic-caliber training facilities established by the Maine Winter Sports Center and numerous community cross country ski and snowshoe trails are waiting.

If you're an alpine skier, one of the area's downhill facilities will be a breath of fresh air - short lift lines, low ticket prices, and tons of natural snow.
Don't forget to attend one of the many winter eventswhile you're here - Enjoy Caribou's Winter Carnival, Mardi-Gras in Fort Kent, or the International Snowmobile Festival in Madawaska.
