Testimonials about geocaches around Aroostook County:

"What a great cache, wild flowers were everywhere around the site. The black spruce forest makes the short ride into the cache unique. This is a great place to visit; it is amazing that a location from the cold war era has become such a beautiful and peaceful location. I will bet in the day it was a very busy place. Even the road is showing the wear of time. Even with the paved road it is almost all grown in and once again part of the forest. Thanks for giving us a reason to visit this location." - The Tunnel GC1DJXV

"Nice reserve. Found cache easily. Walked down to the lake. Wondered what was on the path that I kept slipping in. Finally discovered there was what looked like Moose poop everywhere, could have been a weird moss or plant on the trail. Didn't see any moose though." - Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge Trails GC131CT

"This was a really fun cache to find. We found the clues to look for this one and the Outer Solar System cache, but only had enough daylight to log this one. The walk at the destination was nice, and it was pretty interesting finding all of the planets. We brought our daughter (14 months) along, and she loved it!" - Out of This World: Inner Solar System Cache GCQCX1
