Round Pond Public Reserved Lands

This 20,000 acre unit of the North Maine Woods is a popular destination for hunting and camping and canoeing. Round Pond, part of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway takes its name from this wide section of the Allagash River. Visitors enjoy the views of the river and the sea of trees from the observation tower on top of Round Pond Mountain.
