Landlocked Salmon

Maine supports one of the largest sport fisheries for landlocked salmon in the world. Aroostook County is no exception, with nearly every large lake containing some of these sought after fish. Favorite destinations for landlocked salmon include the Fish River Chain of Lakes in northern Maine, East Grand Lake in Southern Aroostook, as well as many remote lakes in the North Maine Woods.
