Bass are one of the most sought after game fish because they are aggressive feeders, strong fighters, and agile enough to chase down a wide variety of lures and bait. They are most easily caught during a feeding spree but because they are predatory by nature, at times will strike at anything that enters their world. County Bass fishing occurs primarily in Southern Aroostook in such beautiful locations as East Grande Lake, Pleasant Pond, and Nickerson Lake.
