The River de Chute Chapel is a wedding chapel venue located in the countryside of Northern Maine that offers convenience in a remote setting. The property features three distinct buildings perfect for weddings, reunions, and special events. This outdoor venue connects you and your guests with nature on all sides. The splendor of the stained glass elevates the beauty of the happy couple. Have access to the whole property and stay in the historic Mahany House. The best part is ringing the bell on your special day and listening to it echo across the valley.
The Chapel is a beautiful backdrop to your wedding day. It is open on two of its sides with the ability for rolled-up walls to drop on stormy days. The Chapel has 18 pews inside fitting around 150 people. For larger weddings, we can put chairs up on either side of the opened walls. A sound system with 4 wireless mics and inputs for instruments to be plugged in will be available. Our staff will gladly run the sound for you if needed. Everyone’s favorite part is ringing the bell after saying “I do”. We encourage our couples to practice before the wedding.
This house is great for getting ready on your special day, a place to have out-of-state guests stay, a place to host a gathering, or a winter getaway right on the snowmobile trail. This house was built in 1888 by the Mahany family, one of the families who started the town of Easton. The house has been updated, while keeping its charm. It sleeps 10 people total.
The Machine Shed is heated and holds 200 people. There are round tables (60”) and chairs. Behind the Machine shed we have a silo that holds a kitchen and bar. The kitchen has a 3 bay sink, small deep freeze, two sliding door fridges, gas stove, large blackstone, and prep stations.
