Maine Maple Weekend

Maine Maple Weekend

Maine Maple Weekend is an agricultural celebration of spring in northern New England, highlighting pure maple craftsmanship. As winter breaks across Aroostook County, this event transforms the forests of the Crown of Maine into sweet-scented maple confections. From commercial operations with many taps, log sugarhouses hidden in the hills, the weekend showcases the diversity in maple production. Visitors from across the Northeast can enjoy seeing everything from cutting-edge reverse osmosis modern facilities to old-fashioned, wood-fired evaporators that boil strictly by open fire to create a deep, unmatched flavor profile that has been perfected across generations.

Guests can sample "sugar on snow" and hot maple taffy, enjoy pancake breakfasts, and snack on warm, maple-coated donuts and nuts.  Shelves are stocked with premium syrup, candy, and maple cotton candy. Maine Maple Weekend in Aroostook County is more than a culinary tour.
