Logger Fest

Logger Fest celebrates the logging heritage, hard work, and generations of families connected to Maine’s North Woods. Held every other year in Fort Kent, Maine the festival brings together loggers, forestry professionals, local businesses, and visitors for a weekend dedicated to one of the region’s heritage industries. The festival highlights the traditions, skills, and equipment that have shaped life in the St. John Valley and across Maine's Aroostook County.

Visitors can experience a variety of logging-themed competitions and demonstrations, including crosscut sawing, axe throwing, arm wrestling, and log-loading challenges. The festival also features forestry equipment displays, food vendors, live entertainment, and a popular light parade of logging trucks that illuminates downtown Fort Kent. Logger Fest offers a unique opportunity to learn about the region’s forest products industry while celebrating the people and communities that continue to carry its traditions forward.
